Artificial Intelligence / Machine Learning Working Group

The Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (AI/ML) working group (WG) provides roadmap based on research and industry advancement to deliver the AI/ML vision for the networks of the future. We focus on:

  • AI & ML as they relate to networking and communications
  • Architectures & frameworks that support AI/ML workloads for different domains
  • Anticipating AI/ML challenges and developments over multi-year horizons

From time to time, we also collaborate with other working groups, other IEEE organizations, standards developing organizations (SDOs), other academic and industry associations and partners to advance common goals.
